The Griffith Jockey Club Cup Meeting is one of the premier events on the Griffith calendar. Held once a year at Dalton Park, the races are a great day out for all!
The Griffith Cup race day program features six races with local bookies and TAB, public bar and canteen as well as activities for the kids. Fashions on the field will be held once again with great prizes.

Jerilderie Gold Cup Races
Jerilderie Gold Cup Races offers a day of country racing at its best with a six race program including the famous Jerilderie Gold Cup. Highlights of the day will include metropolitan and local bookmakers, bar and catering facilities and free children's entertainment including a jumping castle. Marquee Packages are available, as well as an ice cream van and tab facilities. Top prizes will be on offer for the Fashions on the Field. A courtesy bus will operate throughout Jerilderie and buses are available froom other surrounding towns.

Barellan Working Clydesdales and Heavy Horses Good Old Days Weekend
Barellan Working Clydesdales and Heavy Horses "Good Old Days" Weekend is held annually over the October long weekend at the Barellan Showground's. The event offers two fantastic days of competitions, demonstrations and displays of working horses and farming methods used in years past.
This unique event showcases Clydesdale horses as "Gentle Giants" and enriches patrons of all generations with an educational and engaging rural heritage experience. Having experienced first-hand how their ancestors lived and worked on the land, visitors will take away with them a greater appreciation of the pioneers of this glorious region - the Riverina.

Taste Riverina Food Festival
Taste Riverina is a collaboration of the region's food producers and other industry champions who inspire people in the Riverina and beyond to eat better food by providing opportunities to celebrate, understand and become advocates for locally produced food. The Riverina is known for its diverse range of produce, from rice, to citrus, lamb, beef, wheat, canola, oil, olive oil, grapes, potatoes and pistachios, so ensure you experience the wide variety on offer throughout October. The month's calendar will include events all over the region including agricultural tours, cooking classes, food treks, dinners, cafe specials, recipe competitions, local festivals, degustation menus, picnics and live music. Citrus Sculpture Display
Griffith comes alive with an amazing display of more than 60. larger than life, three dimensional Citrus Sculptures. The Citrus Sculptures line the main street of Griffith, creating a spectacular gateway to the city and are display for two weeks. The Sculptures are wacky and creative and include a grand piano, a giant guitar, a chicken, and a Cinderella horse and carriage. The Sculptures are unique to Australia, and are based on the famous lemon sculptures of Menton, France. They are created using 100,000 oranges and rubber bands, and an army of 700 volunteers. Sculptures are created by schools, service clubs, community groups and multi-naional companies - it is a faboulus community event. The Sculptures are celebrated during the Griffith Festival of Gardens in October.
A Journey from Paddock to Plate
A signature event celebrating local and fresh produce through a three course dinner. The creation of local Narrandera Ex-Servicemen's Club, it's an opportunity to meet local producers, hear their stories and take the journey from paddock to plate.

Griffith Festival of Gardens
Visit Griffith during Spring and celebrate the 27th annual Festival of Gardens.
Several private gardens will open to the public, ranging from pretty cottage gardens to lovely country estates. The gardens reflect the passion of the owners and offer a tranquil and colourful environment to relax and explore. Some of the gardens offer catering and additional attractions to further enhance your garden experience.
The Festival committee will once again organise activities for the festival weekend, watch this space to find out what they will be in 2017, but one activity that happens every year is the daily Garden Tour Bus, where you will be assured of a memorable day out with like-minded people and knowledgeable local driver.

Leeton Chill & Grill
'Leeton Chill and Grill' is relaxed, pop-up food event showcasing local produce & culinary skills in a festive, market stall environment. Featuring live cooking demonstrations with celebrity chef Paul West, the aim of the event is to showcase locally grown produce which has been transformed by loacl chefs and 'foodies' and then sold to you for only $5.00 per plate!
Mingle amongst the great array of market stalls, enjoy local wines, buy fresh local produce & wares from the Leeton Farmers & Markers Market and chill with the sounds of local brands.

Long Lunch at the Piccolo Farm
Guests will enjoy a long lunch style experience in a unique setting. Set on a working citrus farm and surrounded by 2 acres of established gardens this is a dining experience not to miss.
Lunch will be catered by Limone Dining and will feature local food and beverages. Price is fully inclusive. Individual tickets or table of approx 10 people may be booked. Limited tickets available.
